There’s no option in Skyrim to call a horse to you, like whistling in Assassins Creed, but whenever you own a horse and fast travel to a location that is outdoors, the horse automatically appears together with you.
Using your mount
Navigate to your collections tab in the menu (press U on PC). Click on the “Mounts” tab. Select the mount you wish to use by double clicking on it. Doing this will equip that mount.

Arvak while in the Soul Cairn. Once the spell to summon Arvak is gained, he can be summoned in either the Soul Cairn or in the wilds of Skyrim. He cannot, however, be summoned in any walled cities like Whiterun or Solitude.
The Veteran Level cap was 16 and was the highest achievable level in the game. The level cap was originally Veteran Rank 10, but with Update 1 it increased to 12, and with Update 4, to Veteran Rank 14.
At the bottom of the interface, the Mount button causes the player to summon the selected mount. At the top right, the Summon Random Favorite Mount button will summon a random selection from the player’s current favorites. Getting the first horse / mount – how to do it?
To mount a horse, you must first have one set as your “active mount.” This is done from the Collections tab on the game menu. Now that a mount has been selected as “active,” your active mount can then be summoned by pressing the [H] key on the PC, holding the [View] on Xbox One, or holding in the [Touchpad] on PS4.
