The Hopi religion is a complicated system of beliefs. A highly developed religious system with numerous gods and spirits is present, including Earth Mother, Sky Father, the Sun, the Moon, kachinas (invisible spirits of life), and Masaw (the world’s guardian spirit), among other things.
Since then, we have managed to maintain our tribal identity while still maintaining our culture, language and religion in the face of external pressures and influences. The Hopis were renowned for their farming prowess. Corn, beans, and squash were grown, as well as cotton and tobacco. Turkeys were reared for meat, and they were slaughtered for the flesh. Hopi men also hunted deer, antelope, and other small animals, while Hopi women harvested nuts, fruits, and herbs for themselves and their families.
