All about the ancient tribes
Even though they are made up of many different ancestral people, the ‘Seminole Tribe of Florida’ is one of the indigenous tribes of South Florida, and their name comes from this grouping. As an excellent comparison, the Tribe may be compared to an oak tree or a cypress tree, both of which are firmly entrenched in the earth and descended from the same soil, roots, and trunk.
