All about the ancient tribes
If it’s lying on the ground and not getting up it’s likely dead. If your horse can be revived it will have a red cross next to the horse icon. If you don’t have any horse revive tonic, you can always exit the game and come respawn back into the world.
If your horse becomes critically injured and cannot be ridden, it can be healed using a Horse Reviver within 1 minute. Otherwise, if you don’t manage to revive it, you can pay the veterinary to heal the horse. You may heal your horse via the Player Menu for a fee, or at a Stable where it will cost less.
No. You lose any horses Arthur had at the end of Chapter 6, even those stored in the stable. It may be possible to re-tame the white Arabian with John (I’ve heard that it respawns in the epilogue, but I’ve never tried it, myself).
On the one hand, if you don’t have Horse Revive, you can put your horse out of their misery. Select, Kill and Arthur will knife his trusted steed. The other option, Revive, will appear at the same time. Select this option, and Arthur will give his horse the tonic.

Unfortunately, there is currently no way to sell stolen or wild horses in Red Dead Online at the time of this writing. … So the convenience of the stables may be enough to make some players happy, even though they are currently unable to sell any stolen or wild horses in Red Dead Online.
Leave the area for a few days & it will respawn.
Sell (stolen) horses and wagons
You’ll unlock a Wagon Fence during Chapter 2 and a Horse Fence during Chapter 3. Once you’re done looting corpses, grab the bad guys’ wagon or horse and go pawn them.
Arthur’s wallet of money is also cleared out, but John receives $20,000, which is more than enough to buy anything. A few missions into the epilogue, John does inherit all of Arthur’s outfits and weapons. So before you finish the mission “Red Dead Redemption,” you might as well spend that saved cash.
If the player wishes to keep Buell after the story, they must complete the last part of Hamish’s mission after Chapter 6, as John. If the player completes the mission as Arthur, Buell will be lost along with all the other horses owned by Arthur after the mission “Red Dead Redemption”.
All Arthur horses are Lost. The money too, but u will get 20k after epilogue. The weapons u keep them all.
Whether you die both during a firefight or by falling from great heights, the game will load the last save. However, if your horse dies seconds before you, the game will give you another horse. Your saddle is automatically moved on a new mount, but this horse won’t have the same bond level as the one before.
