Horse customization in Zelda BoTW
You can only customize your mount at stables that have someone out front feeding the horses. We know for sure you can use Highland and Foothill stables. You also have to build up your bond with the mount you want to customize.
Sadly, you can’t customize the bridle, saddle, or mane on the Giant Horse.
There is no way to rename a horse in the game. … At least we know that the special ones respawn when released, and you can always load your save over and over to get horses in the field to appear in different colors to help catch another version of a normal horse we want to rename.
Customising your horse in Breath of the Wild
Sure, the stable gives you a saddle etc when you register your horse but if you want something a little fancier, you can of course upgrade those to your heart’s content.7 мая 2017 г.

How to kill a horse. Yes, sadly, it can happen. Yes, sadly, we learned the hard way. This, sadly, was a special horse.
The Giant Horse is mortal, like any other horse. … yes the giant horse can die, but if you wish to get it again untamed you can, or you could also use the horse fairy southeast of the highland stable to revive the horse tamed.
Epona. Epona is arguably best mount that can be registered in the game, but you won’t find the iconic horse anywhere in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
It’s Epona, everyone’s favourite horse! Epona, Link’s lovely horse from Ocarina of Time, can be ridden in Breath of the Wild. The easiest way to get her is to scan the Twilight Link Smash Bros amiibo.7 мая 2020 г.

However, Link’s iconic horse, Epona, is missing from the game – but can be obtained through very specific means. IMPORTANT NOTE: Epona can only be summoned by an amiibo – it is impossible to obtain this horse otherwise!
The Giant Horse is a rare horse that you can find in the Taobab Grassland. If you travel back to Owa Daim Shrine, then it’s only a quick paraglide trip away to the cliffs of Mount Faloraa to the south. Once on the cliffs, look west and you can spot the Giant Horse apparently holding a little horse conference.
I don’t think there’s an all black horse. Wild horses are the most basic mount in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and can be found fairly early on in Link’s adventure.
1 Answer. Unfortunately, you can’t keep it as a permanent mount, but you are able to ride it, as you’ve noticed. According to this guide on taming the creature, while you are able to tame it, you can’t register it to a stable.
