If your horse will spend most of his time inside, you’ll want something bigger. … Our horse barns offer plenty of room for your horses. A 12×12 horse stall size is considered ideal for a 1000+ pound horse. An average (15h) horse can be comfortable in a 10×12 or even a 10×10 stall.
Yes they can but will need supplementary feeding with hay and/or hard feed.. My own personal experience would say that one acre of pasture is insufficient to support two horses without supplemental feeding.
An 8-foot-high stall partition is standard. Partition height needs to be at least 7 1/2 feet to prevent horses from getting legs over the wall. Most horses can kick as high as 7 feet. With an inward opening door the upper should open inward while the bottom remains locked which means the security problem is more with the upper door as the upper helps keep the lower closed.
A stable door might appear to be similar to most other doors at first glance; however a stable door is split into an upper and lower half normally, and allows either of the two halves to be opened independently. There should be a perfectly equal margin all the way round each door, including in between each leaf of around 3mm.

Generally, with excellent management, one horse can be kept on as little as 0.4 hectares (one acre). Life will be a lot easier at one horse on 0.8 hectares (two acres). If running horses together, an owner would be doing exceptionally well to maintain a ratio of one horse per 0.4 hectares (one acre).
“Start by asking the horse to hold it for only two seconds, and over a period of weeks build that up to a 10-second hold in each position.” Five repetitions of each exercise before riding—not after, when the muscles are tired—make for a great topline-building workout.
Size – Minimize the size of the paddock or corrals. There should be at least 600 square feet per horse but paddocks should be less than one acre.
