All about the ancient tribes
Feeding a horse will make it easier to tame. They will eat wheat, hay bales, sugar, apples, bread, golden carrots, and golden apples. Mules are not found naturally in Minecraft. Instead, you can breed one using a horse and a donkey.
Steps to Tame and Ride a Horse
To tame the Equus, you must mount it immediately after the first feeding. Tap the action button each time you’re prompted to feed again.
Once you mount the Giant Horse, repeatedly hit the L button to soothe it until it calms down. Be forewarned: It will take you roughly a little more than two stamina wheels worth of strength to tame it.
A skeleton horse can be tamed by killing the skeleton that is riding the horse. Then, the player will be able to tame it. A saddle is required, too.

Safe Things You Can Teach a Horse
It’s easy and fun to teach your horse to neck rein. Whether you ride English or western, it’s handy to have a horse that can both direct rein and neck rein. It’s also fun to teach your horse unique tricks, and even non-horse people enjoy watching horses perform them.
You can crouch down to engage and stealth, and slowly creep up behind the horse without them being alerted. Get close enough to grab on by pressing A then rapidly tap L to soothe them before your stamina wheel runs out.

Procoptodons can no longer be picked up by Quetzals, so make sure you have a good source of stamina and speed to catch up with the Procoptodon as it flees. Immobilizing with a chain bola (Not normal Bola) can also work.
