Pretty awesome in-game, as you can find it early and it’s helpful against various gym leaders. In the metagame he’s a bit too slow, frail, and weak to prove a huge threat. Not by much, but enough to have him out of standard.
Pokemon Sword and Shield Sandile is a Ground and Dark Type Desert Croc Pokémon, which makes it weak against Water, Grass, Ice, Fighting, Bug, Fairy type moves. You can find and catch Sandile in Potbottom Desert with a 36% chance to appear during Normal Weather weather.
Krookodile is a great Pokemon in the UU metagame. It has great Attack and decent Speed along with decent bulk. It also has a decent movepool, both offensively and defensively, and it has a very good offensive typing that hits a variety of foes hard.

Despite the barriers associated with getting a Strange Egg, your odds of getting a high-value Pokemon remain low. Community estimates are only estimates, but right now it’s looking like you’ve got only a 1% chance of hatching a Sandile, which appears to be the real prize here.
Sandile (Japanese: メグロコ Meguroco) is a dual-type Ground/Dark Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It evolves into Krokorok starting at level 29, which evolves into Krookodile starting at level 40.
Sandile is a Ground, Dark-type Pokémon from the Unova region. It evolves into Krokorok when fed 25 candies and its final evolution is Krookodile.
How do i get Krokorok’s evolution in Pokemon Sword and Shield? Pokemon Sword and Shield Sandile evolves into Krokorok when you reach Level 29. Krokorok then evolves into its final evolution Krookodile when you reach Level 40.
Overall, Garchomp it’s a bulkier version of Dragonite and highly serviceable and the bulkier dragon of the rooster (aside from Giratina that isn’t useful at all), but still not the greatest option in DPS. Both Dialga and Palkia are better options within this gen, and Rayquaza is still the Dragon God.
Flygon, a Pokémon with good stats, a good typing and a good move-pool, yet it’s stuck in the Borderline tier because of a perceived inferiority to its fellow Dragons. But, things aren’t all bad for Flygon. Unlike Salamence, Flygon has STAB on its Earthquake, and unlike Garchomp, it has Roost and a Ground immunity.
Intimidate is the preferred ability, as it lowers foes’ Attack stats, which allows Krookodile to switch in more easily.
