How to Watch E3 2020 Live. The E3 2020 press conferences from Microsoft, Ubisoft, EA, and whoever else decides to have a presser this year will all be streamed online via Twitch and YouTube. We should also expect a Nintendo Direct at some point during that week that will be streamed live to millions.
The event, organized by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA), was to take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from June 9–11, 2020. However, due to concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic, the ESA announced it would cancel the event, marking the first time since the launch of E3 in 1995 that it was not held.
As publishers do their own thing. “Given the disruption brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, we will not be presenting an online E3 2020 event in June,” an ESA spokesperson said.

E3 2020 will not have a major livestream event to replace the traditional conference. But the good news is there will be an alternative online experience instead, and there’s confirmation of when next year’s event will be.
The Entertainment Software Association (ESA), the organization behind E3, has released a list of major publishers that will be attending this year’s expo. That list includes Microsoft, Nintendo, Ubisoft, Bethesda, Take-Two, Square Enix, Capcom, Bandai Namco, Warner Bros., and SEGA, according to the ESA.
