1 Doing ‘Wild’ Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life brought us to 2016 Stars Hollow where everything seems to be the same as it used to be. Luke and Lorelai have been together for a solid decade at this point and they never got married.
Season 4, Episode 22: ” Raincoats and Recipes ” After four loooong seasons and a few awkward first dates, Luke and Lorelai finally share their first kiss.
4 Written In The Stars (S5, Ep 3) Of course, this is their first date, and the first time they sleep together, which makes it an amazing episode for the couple, but it’s also the episode where Lorelai accidentally clues the whole town in and they end up being discussed at the town meeting.
By the end of season 7 they both are a little older and still have to find their way back in their relationship. They have two kids they really love, especially Luke with Rory.
Fans have speculated that the father of Rory’s baby is none other than Logan. Matt Czuchry had a very prominent role in the revival, as Rory, who had a boyfriend at the time, was sneaking around with her former beau.
After posing an ultimatum to Luke which leads to their break-up, Lorelai finds comfort in Christopher and they start dating again. In the final season of the original series, Lorelai and Christopher jet off to Paris, where they impulsively get married.

In a vat. Or one of Lorelai’s coffee IVs.) But, luckily for you, I’m a big Jess and Rory fan and I’ve scoped out the episode that features Rory and Jess ‘ first official kiss: The Season 2 finale, “I Can’t Get Started,” is the very magical episode that features Jess and Rory’s first, perfectly-scored kiss.
Never dated. Kissed once, Tristan had feelings for Rory and she was a little interested later on, but never acted on it.
Nicole and Luke went on a seven country cruise in the summer and spontaneously got married. Luke discovered that Nicole was cheating on him in 4.17 and Luke signed the papers to officially divorce Nicole in 4.19.
The town elder who grants Luke permission to buy the Twickham house claims that Luke pined for Lorelai for nine years. Perhaps he wasn’t in love with her the whole time, but possibly for most of the time. Yes he loved her but he didn’t want to date her the whole time.
However, the only reason why Luke can see any validity in the madness and ends up breaking things off with Lorelai is because of Lorelai and her actions. She’s the one who had lunch with Chris without telling him until after the fact. She hid the tequila night. And, once Luke needs time, she pushes him.
But in Season 5, Episode 21, Lorelai surprises even herself by buying an apple at the hospital where Sookie’s given birthand says she previously only craved apples when she was pregnant. Also, Lorelai didn’t actually turn out to be pregnant during her scare; she simply wanted an apple for once.
With a total of 83 out of a possible 120 points, Logan is statistically Rory’s best boyfriend. This may come as a shock to many in the Gilmore Girls fandom, where Logan is quite the divisive figure. But while Logan undoubtedly has his faults, it’s clear he’s also the most well-rounded of the bunch.
Luke sues Anna for joint custody, and with a big help to Lorelai’s character reference wins the case. With that, he gains custody to have April for at least one weekend a month, half the summer, and every other major holiday.
